Your level of discomfort will vary with the strength of your chosen peel, but you won’t be left in the dark. We’ll walk you through the recovery process.

We have three depths of medical peel: light, medium, and deep. Which one you need depends entirely on you. The results and the length of the recovery time are proportional; if you get a deep peel, you may need 2 to 3 weeks to recover, but light peels may not require downtime at all.

A chemical peel may be a good choice for you if you:

• Have moderate skin damage
• Don’t have freckles or a dark complexion
• Aren’t nursing or pregnant
• Don’t have a history of anomalous scarring

It depends on the peel itself! Those who choose a light peel will need 5 to 7 days to recover. The medium peel requires 7 to 14 days. The deep peel requires 14 to 21!

Again, it depends on the peel. We recommend scheduling light peels once every 3 to 6 weeks. Whereas you should only schedule a medium peel every 3 to 6 months! Lastly, we only recommend receiving a deep peel 1 to 2 times annually.
